PRECISION CONTROL OF ALL THE VARIABLES IN
YOUR GROW ENVIRONMENT CAN GREATLY MAXIMIZE
YIELD. THE MICROPROCESSOR BASED PLANT PRO™
HYDROPONICS CONTROLLER OFFERS EXACT ELECTRONIC
TIMING FOR LIGHTING, IRRIGATION, VENTILATION,
AND CO2 DISPENSING. ACCURATE MEASUREMENTS
FROM ENVIRONMENTAL SENSORS ALLOW PLANT PRO™
TO MAINTAIN THE PERFECT ENVIRONMENT FOR YOUR
PLANTS TO THRIVE IN.

SCOPE OF OPERATION
The Solatel Plant Pro system was designed to control the growing
environment in an indoor hydroponic setup or a small hobby
or commercial greenhouse. It is optimized for typical ebb and flow
setups but can be customized to accommodate other types of growing
systems as well.

PRECISION MEASUREMENT AND TIMING
Solatel’s solid state integrated environmental sensors feature
much higher accuracy than the usual mechanical sensors found
in many grow environments.
Measurement accuracy: Temperature ± 2º F, Humidity ± 3% rH
EASY SETUP
The Plant Pro™ unique simplified interface allows for easy, quick
setup using only two control knobs and a large LED display.

ENVIRONMENTAL SENSORS
Temperature, Humidity, Photocell (light) and Flood sensors come
standard with the Plant Pro™ . Environmental sensors come with
flexible 10 ft. cables that allow for optimum placement of sensors
in the grow space. This provides for better accuracy and, if desired,
allows the control unit to be located outside the grow environment
for easy monitoring and adjustment.

VISUAL FEEDBACK
During operation, the large, easy to read, digital display allows
monitoring of timed functions and sensor thresholds as well as
the levels of any attached environmental sensors. Sensor levels
can be displayed individually or can be set to rotate through all
(pausing at each one for a few seconds), so the status of the entire
system can be seen at a glance. Click here for an animation of the
Rotation Mode. The Plant Pro™ display shows:
· Accurate time of day clock (12 hour with AM/PM or 24 hour
  depending on model).
· Status of timed functions (lamp, pump, and CO2).
· Levels of any attached Environmental Sensor:
· Temperature in F (degrees Fahrenheit).
· Humidity in rH (relative humidity).
· CO2 sensor (optional) measurement in PPM (parts per million
  CO2 concentration).
· Photocell measurements in a convenient scale of scale 0 to 100.
AIR CONTROL
The Plant Pro™ monitors the garden’s air environment for temperature,
humidity and CO2 level (with optional sensor). Depending on thresholds
set for these sensors, the ventilation fan is activated to maintain the desired
environment for the plants you are growing.

CO2
· Timed Mode: You set interval and duration for CO2 dispensing. Has
unique adjustable fan delay feature to maximize CO2 absorption.

· Monitor Mode: Requires optional Solatel CO2 Monitor. Plugs directly
into the Plant ProTM with no additional equipment required. You simply
set the desired CO2 level on the display and the controller maintains
that level of CO2 in the grow environment.

POWER:
15A total current capacity for 120 V models. Larger loads require the
optional Solatel Power Expanders (see accessories). Each power Expander
allows an additional 15 Amp load. As many Expanders as needed may be
used for heavy loads if additional power is available in the grow area.

FLOOD:
A flood sensor is standard equipment with all Plant Pro™ . Protects from
damage from accidental overflow of the irrigation system (such as root or
leaf clogged drain lines). It is usually located by nutrient reservoir and shuts
of pumps (as well as rest of system) in the event of an overflow.

SUNLIGHT
Ordinarily, the Plant Pro™ functions are based on an internal time clock.
However, with an attached Photocell sensor, its functions can be based
on natural light as well, allowing it to be fully utilized by greenhouse growers
who use natural sunlight or a combination of artificial light and sunlight.
In other words, the Plant Pro™ with it's three user selectable photocell modes,
can operate based on sunlight only or a combination of sunlight and time clock.

· Natural Duration Mode: Artificial lighting goes on and off at same time as natural
lighting. This also allows the Plant Pro™ to be used when the grower uses only
  natural lighting.
· Total Time Mode: Set the total time you wish the garden to have light. If the
length of natural light is insufficient, the artificial lighting will come on to make
   up the difference.
· Extension Mode: Artificial light comes on at sunrise for a period of time set by
  the user.
